Engineered Advantage, PSC (EA) is an architecture and engineering (A/E) firm dedicated to serving the public and private sector in the areas of architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, field inspections, and construction management in Puerto Rico, Florida and recently after hurricane Irma and Maria in St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. Maarten. EA was incorporated 6 years ago by Paul J. Vagnetti, PE, MSCE (Master in Structural Engineer).

We believe that good analysis, engineering judgment, and drawing detailing with appropriate support to the contractor during construction projects are the key elements in reducing projects cost and delays. Our team is composed of personnel that combine high expertise in the design area and valuable experience in the construction field. Together we offer excellence with solutions designed to integrate the best resources, products accessible in the local market and the viable methodology to obtain a cost-effective product that meets the demands of our customers.

As an engineering firm dedicated to water resources and structural engineering, we provide consultancy to architects, other structural consultant firms, a multi-discipline engineering firm, general contractors, subcontractors including, precaster, steel fabricators and aluminum and glass contractors, law firms for support as an expert in court for engineering cases including forensic engineering, developers, among others.

After acquiring the services of two architects in our office (David J. Vagnetti Muñoz and David Lugo) we combine our efforts to provide our clients an economical and viable alternative specifically in projects that require structural improvements and at the same time looks for an architectural renovation that adapts to the reality of his business. Recently two of our members (David Lugo and Jose Perez) have been certificated by Autodesk as Revit user for BIM Modeling to help to integrate the architectural and structural discipline in one final accurate product.

As construction management, we get involved in monitoring the overall progress of the work from beginning to end, establishing direct communication with our clients to keep them informed of progress and opportunities. We identify priorities for resources and meetings with subcontractors to negotiate contracts and set work schedules.
